Easy Entertaining

Easy Entertaining

Entertaining is easy on the flybridge thanks to an outdoor galley with worktop, sink and optional fridge and grill. The wraparound lounge area is centred around a large sliding, folding table and the helm and observer can easily join the party from their swivel seats.

An innovative service hatch under the seating connects to a dumbwaiter in the galley so it makes dining on the top deck super easy. The built in spotlights and speakers and subtle lighting from the LEDs in the bimini create a gorgeous ambience. The large flybridge also has enough room to store a tender with an optional hydraulic crane.

If you find the perfect swimming spot, the hydraulic swim platform with swim ladder allows easy access to the water. Forward, a tilting sun lounger provides a relaxing spot to curl up with your favourite book and sunbathe.

Elegant Interior

Elegant Interior

The Swift 50 interior is cleverly designed for practical living and easy entertaining in style. The elegant interior has a contemporary feel with high gloss varnish finishes on mahogany woodwork. Layout options include three staterooms and two bathrooms with large double cabins or two double cabins with office and extra berth.

Enter the saloon through the large sliding glass doors and experience high ceilings and huge opening windows on both sides offering plenty of light and space.

There is an L-shaped saloon bench seat and a folding table that can be used as an occasional table. Widen it out for dinner or fold it away to convert the seating into a double berth for occasional overnight guests.

Clever Innovations

Clever Innovations

A highlight has to be the U-shaped galley which makes cooking meals away from home easy and enjoyable.

Features include a three burner electric stove, storage and double basin stainless steel sink. The opening window allows for plenty of ventilation.

Beneteau have come up with a few features to make life on board hassle-free too …

like the rubbish disposal at the sink. It links to the side deck – so no need to walk through the saloon carrying rubbish. The addition of a dumbwaiter allows food to be served on the upper deck without having to carry it up the stairs.

Through the companionway to the aft you’ll find the master stateroom with island berth complete with leather headboard and trims. No need to duck down as the ceiling has a 6 ft 2 inch clearance. There is ample storage with large closets and a vanity or desk. The ensuite is split with a separate shower including sink and toilet with sink.

Choose between a guest room with double bunks and laundry area with fitted washing machine and tumble dryer. Or an office with extra storage. Forward in the VIP stateroom, guests will feel right at home with the high headroom of 6ft 7 inches.

The guest bathroom has stainless steel features and a separate walk in shower and easy access to the upper deck.

Australian Boating Review

Australian Boating Review

Australian Boating has released a special report on Beneteau’s new Swift Trawler range. Here’s what they have to say about the Swift Trawler 50:

“Imagine owning a luxurious cruiser of this size, performance and capability. This is a trawler yacht capable of cruising over to Lord Howe Island, back up through the Great Barrier Reef via Lady Musgrave Island, and on to the Whitsundays, Townsville, Cairns… or straight over to Darwin. Truly, the Swift Trawler 50 will do all this and more in extraordinary comfort and convenience and yes, economy … The Swift Trawler 50 is now one-of-a-kind, and will forever remain as a very solid investment in a lifestyle most people can only imagine.”

Boattest.com Review 2017

The Beneteau Swift 50 comes standard with two staterooms, but also has a third space that can be made into a third guest cabin with Pullman-style beds or an office with a large desk and elevated berth. An unusual feature is the dumbwaiter, which makes moving food and drink between the flybridge and the galley much easier. High bulwarks, broad walkways and railings make access to the bow lounging area easy and safe.
