Impressive Beneteau Inboard Power Display at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2018

Flagstaff Marine co-owner, Graham Raspass, visited boot Düsseldorf in Germany in January.

The boat show is a massive event with over 1923 exhibitors showing yachts, boats and watersport products from around the world.

It’s a great opportunity to gather insight into the industry and see the latest inboard powerboat innovations first-hand.

Check out Graham’s behind-the-scenes video of the Beneteau Power display at Düsseldorf.

A few highlights for Flagstaff Power were the Boat of the Year nominations for the Gran Turismo 50 and Gran Turismo 50 Sportfly.

The brand new Swift Trawler 35 was on display. There’s one on the way to Australia now and Flagstaff Marine will have it on display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May.

An added bonus from the trip was that Graham was able to sit down and chat with the Beneteau team and talk through models and designs for the future.

“Düsseldorf presents me with an opportunity to sit with the (Beneteau) design teams for each of the models and discuss current and future developments … one of the key strengths of Beneteau is the length they go to in order to gain insights from owners about how they use their products and what changes they would like to see. This extensive feedback is then fed to the design team by the product and marketing team and leads to continued innovation.”

Perhaps the best news of all was the addition of the prestigious Monte Carlo range to Flagstaff Power – and the confirmation that Flagstaff Marine will be the NSW and Queensland agent for these luxurious motor yachts.

The Monte Carlo range oozes Italian design flair with innovative technology. Every one of these motor cruisers is built around the dreams of its owner. They are elegant, innovative and built to last.

There are currently four models in the range – Monte Carlo 5 Flybridge, Monte Carlo 5S, Monte Carlo 6 and the Monte Carlo 6S.

The first model will arrive in time for the Sydney International Boat Show in August.
